• Anna Kobyłecka, Technical Officer, Environment Programme Manager, in the Compliance and Facilitation Directorate of the World Customs Organization.

• The WCO Environment Programme implements various projects related to enforcement of trade measures on environmentally sensitive commodities such as endangered species of fauna and flora, waste, ozone-depleting substances, and hazardous chemicals.

• She has over 22 years’ experience in Customs administration in various positions and finally as counsellor in Customs Department of the Ministry of Finance of Poland.

• Prior to joining the WCO, she has been dealing with policy and Customs enforcement of the legislation in the field of prohibitions and restrictions related to the protection of health and life of humans and the protection of the environment such as the EU legislation on compliance and product safety, chemicals and combatting illegal logging.

• She holds PhD in linguistics from Warsaw University.
