Monica MPAIRWE Technical Officer, FacilitationWorld Customs Organization

Monica Mpairwe, Technical Officer at the World Customs Organization ( WCO), Brussels, Belgium. Prior to her appointment as a Technical Officer, Monica served as the Revised Kyoto Convention (RKC) Review Expert at the WCO. She is a seasoned Customs practitioner with over ten years of experience and passion in areas such as customs reform and modernization, trade facilitation, regional integration and the like. She graduated from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law. She was admitted to the Bar in 2011 upon successful completion of her post graduate Bar course in Uganda. She is a lawyer and an advocate. Monica also holds a Master’s degree in international Trade Policy and Law from Uganda Martyrs University, Kampala, Uganda.
